Nate is one of 4 resource coordinators for NASA's Space Science Education Resource Directory (SSERD) (hyperlink to http://teachspacescience.org ), Nate is responsible for reviewing, approving and registering new Sun-Earth education products for inclusion within the SSERD.
Nate also manages the Sun-Earth Day registration database of over 5000 participants who receive regular communications of upcoming SEC events. He also serves as a consultant for web development efforts within SECEF.
Nate received his bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, College Park. As a NASA civil servant, he wears many hats ranging from web server administrator to contracting officer's technical representative (COTR). Over the past several years, he has also introduced 2 pilot student intern programs to Goddard and has served as mentor to several students primarily in under-served/under-represented groups. Nate began his career at NASA 26 years ago as a high-school intern himself.
