Solar data is retrieved from satellites that orbit around the Earth to measure properties of the solar wind. Activities can be found at: http://image.gsfc.nasa.gov/poetry/activity/pine2.html

ACE data from the swepam instrument will provide the magnetometer data. You can also calculate the speed of the solar wind using the data for the day.

Real time data from ACE can be obtained at: http://www.sel.noaa.gov/ace/index.html

Since the distance from the Sun to the Earth is approximately 150,000,000km to find the arrival time, use Speed=distance/time calculation.
